Calculating Expected Value of Awakening Enhancements
The purpose of doing this method is to avoid using simulations to calculate average number of Pristine Black Stones needed, rather we have an accurate measure of doing this through Expected values and probability.
Note: Expected value is the average over a large number of experiments, and is not guaranteeing you anything about getting to a certain enhancement level within a certain number of stones. This will require more data about the distribution and deviation. I plan on doing this in the future.
If you are interested in just playing around with a spreadsheet that calculates expected value, you can use this here, and make a copy of this Google Sheets (File->Make a Copy). Change only the two numbers next to "Min level 50% Valks" and "Restore level" to set what level you are restoring at or using Valks. Everything else is calculated automatically.
